As a member of the NIAR Innovative Medical Device Accelerator, the NCB is the first to establish GLP accredited animal surgical service for medical device safety and efficacy tests in Taiwan. We use model animals of rabbit, pig, dog, goat (and more in the future) to cover diverse demands and ensure using the most suitable species for each procedure.
Our human-hospital grade surgical suite is equipped with full panel imaging systems including cardiovascular X-ray system, MRI, PET/CT, and ultrasound for cardiovascular, bone and joint, dental, brain and neuron surgeries as well as wound healing operations.
